Last Chance to Register Online for the NewSpace 2009 Conference
Nyack, NY, July 13, 2009 - Your last chance to register online for the NewSpace 2009 Conference is fast approaching. Don’t miss this opportunity to talk with fellow NewSpace enthusiasts including Peter Diamandis of X-Prize, Pete Worden of NASA Ames, and Gwynne Shotwell of Space X. Online registration will close on Thursday, July 16th so you have just enough time to register for the Apollo 11 Anniversary Gala and see which of the 10 exciting newspace company finalists will win the Heinlein Business Plan Competition. Onsite registration will be available for an increased rate. Save yourself some money for the NewSpace Auction and register now.
As if that weren’t incentive enough, the conference will feature an array of noteworthy sessions including Rick Tumlinson speaking on the vision of the Space Frontier Foundation, Bob Richards presentation on the Google Lunar X Prize, and Dr. Paul Spudis on the science of space settlements. You will also get to view the extended edition of the film Orphans of Apollo on Friday evening and the award winning film Moon Beat during the Apollo 11 Anniversary Gala.
Jim Muncy will kick off the conference on Saturday at 8:30 am, followed by engaging sessions focused on enabling the future of space ventures. Sunday is a must for all involved in the commercial side of NewSpace. The conference will conclude on Monday with a chance to reignite the spirit of the Apollo missions by asking the question, ‘Where do we go from here?’ Get inspired by our agenda and complete list of speakers.
Online registration for the conference is available at the NewSpace 2009 website,
which also provides information about our group rate ($99/night) at the Domain Hotel in nearby Sunnyvale, California.
