El Gary Davis I started giving this year and have learned much over the last few months. I'm O- and CMV- so my red blood cells are needed for premies and lukemia patients all the time. I found out AFTER doing a double RBC collection that I could not give for 3 months, not even platelets. Starting in March I will do a normal blood do...nation, then I can continue doing platelets every 2 weeks.
