Get yourself a TechNet subscription. They have a 28% off discount for the first year subscription which will run you around $251 or so. For that you get 10 licenses of everything except for Visual Studio that Microsoft makes for Windows. That includes Windows 7 (or XP or Vista) all versions. Office 2007, 2003, or any o...ther version. All for $251. Much cheaper than buying the software separately. Works great for Parallels.

El Digitus Parallels v5 doesn't seem to be compatible with the latest *BSD releases (network driver fail, device timeouts). In particular, I develop on OpenBSD, now @ v4.6. Tech support sent me a form letter asking me to install Windows drivers - someone didn't read the ticket. This worked out-of-the-box on Parallels v4, v3 on OS...X. Sun's VirtualBox? Flawless network support for *BSD, tested today. I really want to use you, Parallels, but you're not helping me. And stop assuming everyone runs Windows.

what a piece of crap! I just tossed 70 bucks out the window. Bootcamp might not be quite as convenient to switch back and forth between the two OS' but at least it works, and was free.
Avoid this software unless you have a high tolerance for frustration and pain.
