Hi Lenka,

We have new editions of the First-Time guides to Africa, Around the World, Asia, Europe and Latin America all being published in February 2010 – so you’ll be able to get your hands on them then.

Unfortunately there are no plans to release a new edition of World Party at the moment.... Mostra'n més...

Thanks for the questions,

L'Ooi Beng Sun what're the must visit places in yogyakarta?

Make sure you visit Yogyakarta’s quaint old city, the Kraton – where you can check out the city’s first family’s palace and the temples of Prambanan and Borobudur. We’d also recommend a visit to the Sono BudoyoMuseum, which houses a fine exhibition of the arts of Java, Madura and Bali.

Yogyakarta is a major centre for the classical Javanese arts of batik, ballet, drama, music, poetry and puppet shows; so you really should try and see some performances on your stay. You can see good puppet shows at the Sultan's Palace on Saturday mornings. And if you’re visiting in the summer, make sure you see a moonlit performance of the Ramayana ballet in the open-air theatre at Prambanan Temple.

If you’d like some tips on places to stay, look here: http://j.mp/7MzUoS ... Mostra'n més...
And for places to eat and drink, look here: http://j.mp/7RknFc

Can anyone else help Ooi with suggestions??

Hope that helps!

Hi, Elvan. Here's a tip from a RG editor who recently travelled to Colombia - " I... Mostra'n més...’d recommend staying in Getsemaní, which is where most of the cheaper hotels and hostels are. Most backpackers make a beeline for Casa Viena – it’s cheap, has all the standard backpacker facilities and is a great place to meet other travellers. Casa Baluarte, just around the corner, is a quieter, more upmarket option in a lovely converted colonial building. But there are several other options along the same strip, Media Luna, if need be."
